DraftKings Plays and Fades: Week 6 Fantasy Football
QB
PLAY: Matthew Stafford ($6300)
Matthew Stafford started the season with some difficult matchups. In Week 6 he gets a juicy matchup against the Jags with his WR core at full strength. I’m expecting the Lions to be prepared coming off of their bye week. Stafford has the potential for a 300+ yard 3 TD game.
FADE: Teddy Bridgewater ($6000)
Teddy Bridgewater is coming off of a couple of good games. In Week 6 he has to face the Chicago Bears. This fade is completely based on the matchup. I’m expecting the Bears to keep Bridgewater and the Panthers in check.
RB
PLAY: Phillip Lindsay ($4300)
Melvin Gordon’s DUI opened the door for Phillip Lindsay. Assuming Gordon does not play, I’m expecting a healthy Lindsay to see the workload he saw for the majority of the 2019 season. This a cheap price for someone who has the potential to crack the top 10 for RBs in Week 6.
FADE: David Johnson ($5400)
David Johnson hasn’t been great this season and in Week 6 he faces a tough Titans team. Maybe the coaching changes in Houston help his cause, but I’m staying away until I see any signs of life.
WR
PLAY: Kenny Golladay ($6200)
Kenny Golladay has 2 TDs in his first 2 games back. I’m expecting Golladay to get his 3rd TD in as many games along with 100+ yards. I like stacking him with Stafford this week with their matchup against the Jags.
FADE: Marquise Brown ($6500)
This fade is strictly price based. $6500 is too expensive given all of the WR talent below him on the list. He may have a good game, but there are better places to find value and ultimately improve your roster.
TE
PLAY: Trey Burton ($3100)
Surprisingly (or maybe not), Trey Burton is getting the most snaps and targets of all Colts TEs as of recent. His usage and this price point combine for a nice opportunity. I’m not expecting him to go crazy, but there is good value here.
FADE: Drew Sample ($3400)
Drew Sample has been overhyped since his Week 2 performance. He provides little fantasy value. He may find the endzone now and then, but even if he does, I don’t see myself buying in. The icing on the cake… in Week 6 he faces the Colts who have been one of the strongest defense in the league so far this season.
